Media Jam warning keeps coming though I have no media jam!!

I had a paper jam in my Lexmark printer, which is now all sorted and it is printing fine but my Macbook keeps popping up with the warning symbol that there is something wrong with the printer. Although my mac does send the documents to the printer and they print fine, the little printer icon in my Dock keeps bouncing about with the exclamation mark symbol warning me there's something wrong, which is really annoying. How do I tell the computer that there is no printer jam and that it needs to calm down? Thanks.
