Printing using a BT Home Hub USB Port

Hi,

I have seen a few threads that suggest this should work but I can't get it set up.

I'm trying the use the USB port on my BT Home Hub (old, white one) but can't access the printer from my iMac. I'm adding it as IPP with address 192.168.1.253 as specified by BT. Setup seems successful but I can't print.

Has anyone managed to get this working?
