Can't find com.apple.AutoWake.plist in Snow Leopard

Hey everyone.

I've been trying to troubleshoot some weird sleep issue with my imac. I've had it for three years and suddenly it's been going on sleep right in the middle of whatever I'm working on.

It will only come off of sleep if I hit the power bar, then anything on my keyboard. But this helps for a minute or so and it keeps blacking out. The problem is intermittent, too, which doesn't help.

Anyway, I can't seem to locate this file on my system: com.apple.AutoWake.plist. Does SL even have it? I found some forums which suggest trashing this pref, but it's nowhere - even when I use an app like Easy Find.

Any suggestions?

I have no clue why that plist file is no where found on your system.Intel-based iMac, Intel-based Mac mini: How to reset the System Management Controller usually resolves "sleep" issues.

Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM

If you have Apple Care, you may want to give them a call. Get a case number if you do. Out of warranty, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you. The repair techs can run diagnostic tests which are free. They can explain to you why you do not have that particular plist file. Other than that, I am out of suggestions.
