Cellular carrier change

If I have wifi + cellular for verizon but I am considering switching to sprint, how will my iPad be affected?

I have the iPad with retina display, but have verizon wireless and I am no longer happy with their service but love my iPad. I can't return it or exchange it due do the fact it is past that time limit.

You can cancel your Verizon contract without affecting your iPad. You can then get a new plan with which ever carrier you want. They will supply a sim card for you to place inside the iPad. They'll probably be able to do this for you at the Carrier's store. Then you can start using their service instead of Verizon's.

Just be weary of a ny cancellation costs Verizon may decide to apply if your contract isnt over yet.
