I just bought and apple tv and a macbook pro. All the contents from apple tv is working. but the airplay didn't appear on my mac, or even in the iPad. What should i do?

Are you trying to mirror or just basic airplay?
Which iPad and Macbook Pro model do you have? Are they and the Apple TV up to date?
Are all devices on the same network?
Have you tried rebooting devices and router?
I have an IPad 2 and the Macbook is the last one, i bought it yesterday with the Apple TV. So i believe its up to date right? They are all in the same network!
I just want to put the macbook screen on the tv but the airplay icon didnt apeear in any of my devices.
Best not to assume. Go to about this Mac to see model and what OS version is currently running.
If you are trying to mirror the iPad you have to enable it. Go to settings and make sure it's up to date as well

Apple TV should be fine but you can check in the settings if it's up to date.
Verify this first and we'll go from there.

Did you look at the link on how to enable mirroring for iPad?
You bought the Macbook yesterday, correct? Just go to 'more info' (within about this Mac) to confirm the model.
