Slow multitasking on iPhone 5?

My father and I both picked up iPhone 5s recently, needless to say we love them! However, his phone seems much faster than mine. Specifically, the multiasking tray opens up instantly on his phone, while on mine there is a 1-2 second delay. The bizzare part is that he has 163 apps, 5 movies and over 2,000 songs while I have about 20 apps, no movies and 100 songs! And idea what could possible be causing the difference, or any way to remedy the situation?

Any help is really appreciated!

I don't know if you found the solution to your problem after all these months, but my iPhone seemed to be slow as well getting the multitasking tray up, but I found out what was making mine slow. Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Triple-click Home. Then uncheck anything in the Triple-click Home part. This seemed to have worked for me. I hope I solved your problem, or I hope someone did awhile ago! 🙂

Thank you so much!!!! I just switched to the iPhone 5S and had this problem I google it and found you awnser little did I know that the triple home click would cause this! thank you so much I love you man!🙂😀➕
