I transferred digital copies to my iTunes on one laptop, but now I cannot see them on another laptop when signed in to my iTunes account. Why not?

Why can I not see my digital transfers on another computer? I am signed into my iTunes account but unable to see all the movies transferred.

iPad 2, iOS 6.0.1

Signing into iTunes does not cause content to magically appear.

The content is only where you put it.

If you want it on multiple computers, put it there.
