I updated my grandsons ipod touch and put dragonvale back on it. But when my daughter went on her ipad her dragonvale changed to his.

I updated my grandsons iPod touch then put dragonvale back on it. But when my daughter whent on her iPad it put all of his points and dragons on her iPad and she lost her points and dragons. Why????????

I saved all of his settings in the computer before I did the update. Do I have to sign out of game center and put a new name for him and then put back his saved settings?
