my iPhone 4s' screen will enlarge (as if it has been tapped to increase size). It then won't respond to efforts to shrink to regular size. It is difficult to turn off, b/c it's hard to move around on the screen to get to the "slide to power off" bar.

I had the same problem with 3gs. Eventually, when I turned phone on, the screen would enlarge a little bit and stayed larger than normal.
