I have installed a version of itunes to my woindows based computer but there is no file menu only 'organize' and I want to transfer some music from windows media player to itunes. These are cds of my own i had copied to the computer.

I am trying to transfer some music from my windows based laptop to itunes. The apple help says to go to the itenes file menu but there isn't one only organize which doesn't have what I need on it. The music files in windows media player are from my own cds.ANy suggestions greatly appreciated.

There are some short cut keys to make iTunes look more like the old version



ALT shows the menu bar temorarily

CTRL+B show/hide menu bar

CTRL+S show/hide side bar

CTRL+/ show/hide status bar


To make search more like it was, click on magnifying glass in search bar and uncheck "search entire library"


Clicking on the little square thing at the top left of iTunes also opens a menu of choices.
