Why do I keep needing to repair my disk permissions? How come they keep breaking almost every day?

What do you mean by "they keep breaking"? If you mean you keep seeing repeated messages in the repair process, that's normal, you can ignore them.

It's only recommended now to repair permissions after a major upgrade (say of the OS). Or, if you are having major problems with your Mac, RPerms is a good thing to start with It is perfectly normal to see the same notations every time you launch RP. There are some experts who never run them. So, I think you can relax.
