If the DVD comes with a "digital copy" (as many do these days) then yes, follow the instructions provided with the disk.

Otherwise, if you want to convert the actual DVD copy to iPad format, then it is possible, but it requires circumventing the copy protection on the DVD, which is illegal in most countries, and therefore for obvious reasons cannot be discussed here.
