My bank gives me free Kaspersky antivirus, does my MBP need it?

Hi, My bank has offered me free antivirus software, does my mac need it?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Your computer doesn't need an antivirus, and you mustn't install any commercial antivirus on OS X. If you want to install an antivirus, use Sophos or ClamXav. See > http://www.reedcorner.net/mmg

No it does not and do not install it.

There is a reason your Bank is giving it away for Free. There is no such thinig as a Free Lunch.
