Facebook push notification

Turn Facebook notifications off in the notification center, but not in the app itself. Then reset your phone: Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release. After doing that, go back into Notifications & turn Facebook on.

Obviously related to your friend using your Facebook app. But, how to fix, at this point, given what you've already done...

About the only thing left is to restore your phone from backup, followed by syncing your content back to your phone.

stoppped working on my phone.. i have tried everything included the advice mentioned above.. though it has happened to a few of my friends as well. could be to do with the app/facebook and some changes possibly made to their site?

I've been experiencing the same issue... No sound, alerts, and now text messaging alerts are not working. Everything used to work for me just fine until I decided to reload the iOS on my 4S. I did it only to do some cleanup since I was running out of space. I even had my iPhone replaced and it worked fine until I upgraded my FB app. Now I am back to original problem from my old iPhone. The Facebook app isnt even in the Notification Center and it should be.

This have SOLVED all my notification problem:

Go to ios Setting/Mail,Contacts,Calendars/Fetch New Data: set Push to ON (my was set to off)

Scroll down to Advanced and set icloud to Push (my was set to manual)

I deactivated all this settings because of battery drain, but after this, all works fine.

That's all.

Be sure that all Facebook notification settings are active in the Notifications window.

Maybe restrictions? Enable and disable restrictions.

Settings>Notifications...is Facebook in the notification center? Notifications turned on?

You followed these instructions for the app itself?
