Thank you so much! For whatever reason I wasn't seeing the "all songs" catagory at the top. I just switched over from a classic ipod and haven't mastered this new interface. Thanks again!
Does this also work in ipod 5th gen using IOS7? It seems to have lost its capability to shuffle songs in genre with IOS7....it *****....
Do you know if it is still possible to shuffle in genres since iOS 7 and later?

My iPod doesn't use iOS7, but have you tried the menu route I posted before? After all, it would seem a strange feature to remove.
