I bought a new mac including 10.8 ML. How can I install 10.8 on my older iMac (mid-2011) with 10.6?

I bought a new mac including 10.8 Mountain Lion. (How) can I now install 10.8 on my older iMac (mid-2011) which came with 10.6?

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

You will need to buy it at the app store. The license for the pre-installed OS on your new machine is only for that machine. Only OS's purchased from the app store can be installed on more than one machine (as long as you own it).
