Greetings. I bought a 21.5-inch, Late 2009 with Snow Leopard. The application Osirix for medical images invite me to upgrade to Lion. Consequently The Superdive stopped working and also LAN. I find that Apple is aware of it. No response or timely support. I can not return to snowleopard with the installation disk not reading. the hardward test that do not come with the version of Lion download from the internet. I can not use the Hard Drive Test remote internet because LAN is not working. Pleace tell me what is the best way to get the superdrive and LAN working again: back to SnowLeopard? Is there at Apple a fix that I have not seen?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

The upgrade has damaged something. First, as you have problems with the SuperDrive and the AirPort card, reset the PRAM and SMC.

If that doesn't work, you should make a backup of your files and reinstall OS X Lion erasing the disk

Have you tried to reset the PRAM and SMC? Then, if they don't work, I will provide you the steps to install OS X Mountain Lion again

I remember that there are some problems with Jive, assigning points to the wrong person. Maybe this is an example of that bug, or I may be wrong
