How can I reposition pictures within a photo album to put certain pictures ahead of others?

I am trying to move pictures around within a specific album in order for my slideshow to be in the sequence I need.

iPad 2, iOS 6.0.1

Changing the order of photos in an album is not supported in iPhoto for iOS.

Thanks...well, I have no idea what iPhoto is..and don't have the smarts to go ahead with your suggestion. Very dissappointed as was trying to put pictures together for a slideshow for a 70th birthday celebration for my husband.

Would doing it through my PC work? Guess I'd have to do the old fashion way. Urrgh!
