Memory Upgrade

Hello,

I am thinking of upgrading my imac:

21.5in Late 2009

Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics: NVIDA GeForce 9400 256 MB

I currently have two free slots for memory, how easy is it to upgrade. Can I do it myself?

I have found with more media being added to the machine programmes like iMovie, iPhoto are slightly sluggish. Will I see a noticable improvement with more memory?

Also are there further recommendations for upgrade gladly welcome.

Thanks

Tony

You can install memory without any problem and without voiding the warranty > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1423?viewlocale=en_US#1

Your computer supports up to 16 GB of memory. You can buy it in OWC or Crucial > http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac/DDR3_21.5_27 Increasing your memory could help you to improve the performance of your Mac. With Mountain Lion, 4 GB are the minumum I recommend, so install 8, 12 or 16 GB of memory
