I am currently using mac mail 6.2.
Working fine upto today. Now it tells me I am receiving message but they will not display.
I can send messages but they don't show up in the sent file.
My service provider assured me the settings our correct and it's working fine on my i Phone.
Any suggestions out there?

I assume you've quit Mail and re-launched and/or tried restarting the Mac. If so, I'm not sure if it will help but you could try rebuilding the mailbox: Mail - select your Mail account and from the Mailbox menu select Rebuild.
Thanks for the quick reply. It shows me messages coming in but no diplay.
Nothing happens when I click rebuild.
Perhaps I should reinstall mail.

You can't easily re-install Mail as it's not a standalone installer - it's all part of the OS.
You could consider applying the combo updater from here, which includes all the updates from 10.8.0-10.8.2 - including Mail. Sometimes helps sorts things out:

I assume you have backup of your system - doubt that you'll need it, but always best to be prepared.
