My name is Callum, and i bought a Macbook in the early 2011 and updated my OS X to Lion whe it came out, then my computer started to crash. I took it back to the Apple store (where i bought it) and they fixed it in the shop and apparently my hard drive was corrupt. I am now wanting to buy OS X Mountain Lion but i am wary that the same thing may happen and that my Mac will not be able to cope with the new operating system and can't afford to have it repaired again as i am no longer under the Warranty. Is it safe?

Thanks Callum

are you getting kernel panics?  http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3742  If so, copy and paste the most recent one for someone to look at.  http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2546
