Basically i'm running out of space on my phone and wondered if i could delete photos from my camera roll but keep them on my mac. I still want the photos, just the space on my phone too. If i delete say 500 photos from my camera roll will they stay in the previous months photostream 'events' in iPhoto on my mac?

If you delete your photos on Camera Roll, you won't lose them on iPhoto. They are stored on your computer and they won't be deleted unless you delete the photos yourself

If you have imported them into iPhoto then nothing you do on an IOS device will affect the photos - if they are only in PhotoStream then deleting from the PS deletes from all views of PS
