Windows 8 VS My Nano who will win.

I have a Nano bought last year. I was using it without issue on anold computer, Not sure what operating systym i was using but I bought it in 2007. I just got a new computer with Windows 8. My NANO will not sync and is givng me a WDF eror. I tried the comapibility thing but it did not work.

My iTunes is the newest version. It has all my music that I trasfered i via a external hard drive.

What will happen if I do a factory on my iPOD....can I do that on my iPOD?
