My iphoto11 is crashing when I try to purchase a photo book. What can I do?
I tried with an extra large size book and it crashes all the time since yesterday. What can I do?

Extra large books occasionally are causing this error. Try to boot into Safe Mode and try the upload from there, see: Mac OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode?
But before uploading check, if the pdf preview is o.k.

If you're still unable to order the XL book in Safe Mode you may want to downsize to a large size and order from the Safe Mode.
To downsize select the book in the left hand pane and type Commad + D (duplicate). Click on the Change Themes button in the book and select the large size. Be sure to check the book to make sure there are not problems or obmissions. Then follow leonie's recommendation on previewing the book again. Be sure to save the PDF preview file to compare with the printed copy when it arrives.

I finally followed your advice and it worked!!! I booted in safe mode and was able to order the Photo Book.

Be sure to report you problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html. It's a problem that has hung around far too long.
