Hi, I am a new mac user and i have tried to install my HP laser 3030 printer software on my mac.
It's printing but not scanning. Is it right that it's not possible to scan with this printer?

With reference to this KB article from Apple, HP only provides a printer driver to Apple for OS X. There is no scanner driver. So you would need to check the HP web site for a supporting scanner driver for your HP LJ 3030.

As you may find statd below, scanning is no longer supported for the Laserjet 3030 on Mac OS X v10.8, the same apply for OS X 10.7 and 10.6 as well..
i have HP laser 3030 printer which can print and scan on my laptop. i have new mac pro and have installed this printer's software. it does the printing but not scanning. Is it possible to scan as well on my mac pro?sunny
