I reinstalled OSX Tiger 10.4.6 on my 2006 Macbook today using the original reinstall CDs and the internet went missing! It was working perfectly previously. Now not showing up at all. Not in menu bar nor even an option for the internet assistant. It's as if wireless internet doesn't exist for my laptop at all! How do I get Airport/Wi-Fi back? Please help!

Repair Permissions afterwords, reboot.
The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
