How can i format or reset MAC OS?

If OS X is damaged, reinstall it. Press Command and R keys while your Mac is starting to start into OS X Recovery, and reinstall OS X Lion. Your computer will download OS X from Apple again, so this can take hours
i tried...it does not give any sign...
once i press start button...i will start loading and suddenly after 4-5 sec it spots. Just display gray screen...
what is wrong? i dun no....no clue....
Try pressing Command, Option and R keys. If it doesn't work, you will have to use the Mac OS X disc that came with your computer
