Need my pictures from my iPhone 4!!!!

My iPhone 4 won't respond at all and won't reset or connect to my computer. I have been using it as my camera for documenting my newborn's life. Is there anyway to recover the pictures and videos?

If you have been using the device as designed, you would have been copying pictures off the device regularly to your computer. At the very least, the device would have been backed up and synced to a computer regularly.

If none of this has occurred, the only logical conclusion is that the pictures and other data on the device simply are not important to you.

I'm not sure what your problem is and I'm not a psychiatrist so I won't attempt to figure it out, but if I had backed it up I would not be asking for help. Also I don't believe it is logical for a complete stranger to make assumptions about the importance of pictures. Thanks for your "help" though.

If you haven't already, try this Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

If that fails, then your out of luck unless you've already copied the photos/videos to your computer or backed up via iTunes.

You could Google for iPhone forensic service to try an pull the images off but that will be expensive.
