I'm having trouble registering QuickTime Pro

QuickTime Application is showing in Applications

But when I open Apple System Preferences the QuicTime icon isn't showing so I can't register pro version

QuickTime Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

There is no QuickTime pane in 10.6 and newer. You need to supply the code to the QuickTime 7 player as described.

    Thanks for replying.

I've also tried clicking on QuickTime Application but can't seem to find preference for registering

Can you send link or point me in the right direction

Open the QuickTime Player 7 application in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, not the QuickTime Player application in the /Applications/ folder, choose Registration from the QuickTime Player 7 menu, and enter the key there.

If there's no QuickTime Player 7 application, install it as documented in that article.
