Do I need to have wifi to watch a rented movie on my iPad once I've downloaded it?

Once you have downloaded the movie to your device, you do not need Wifi to watch it.

Apparently there is a major bug that prevents movies from being played when you are not on wifi. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY RENTAL MOVIES FROM ITUNES IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THEM ON AN AIRPLANE OR WITHOUT WIFI.
