i have trouble accessing facebook on my macbook pro.

Does anyone else have issues accessing facebook on their macbook pro? all other websites open perfectly but when i try to access facebook, i get a blank page without even an error message. i'v tried changing my cookies setting to always accept cookies. worked for a few hours and could accept facebook but stopped shortly after. I'm worried this could suddenly start happening to other sites.

any tips? thanks.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Yes, I have exactly the same problem. The Facebook site give me completely blank pages in Safari. I have just installed Mountain Lion, so this is obviously related to the issue. I'm aware that I may have to download Java, which is not included in the standard Mountain Lion install, but there is no Java logo to click on the Facebook page. (And yes, I do have plug-ins, Java, and JavaScript enabled in Safari's preferences.)

Is there a site to which I could go to check my Java installation?

Thanks.
