That printer is not supported by Airprint, the app that the iPad uses to print.

Is the printer wifi? If so, you might be able to use a Lexmark printing app (if one exists), or a generic printing app. Check the app store for printing apps, there are several that are good.
If you have a camera - you have the iPad 2.
Lexmark makes a printing app, but as far as I can remember, you can only print photos with it - however, that may have changed by now.
Look at apps like Print Central, Print Bureau and Print and Share for WiFi printing. You can also download apps like Printopia (Mac) and Print Magic (Windows) that let you use your computer as the print server for iPad printing.

just require your computer to be on
The Lexmark Pro901 is not Airprint compatible. You can use any third party apps which will allow you to print to your non-airprint printer or you can use our LexPrint app. It will need a host computer which will act as a bridge for your printer and iOS device.
