How do I turn off the shuffle feature on my IPOD nano (7th gen)?

While playing a song, go the the page "now playing." Tap the screen and some icons will appear (e.g. shuffle, repeat all, repeat one). Tap to select or de-select. Cheers!

The solution is so counter-intuitive (take note Apple). The shuffle function would intuitively be something applied at the playlist level, not at the individual song level.

Yep, that's the problem! Turning Shuffle On/Off at PLAYLIST level, not song level. So very counter-intuitive. Thanks bongzhi and malcolm!
