My ipod touch, 4th gen shuts down and freezes. What can I do?
My ipod 4 started to freeze which I would have to then reset. Now it is turning off all by itself. What can I do to fix this? BTW- it is only 1.5 months old.
Thanks!

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. If defective, within warranty and not aboused Apple will exchange it at no cost.
I did what was suggested. I did the DFU mode and while trying to restore, it said it was unable to do so as an unknown error occurred (14). Any other suggestsion? And now how do I get it out of the DFU mode?
