I lost all my songs off my computer.

I accidentally deleted all my purchased songs on my pc. I have tried all suggestions on restoring purchases from the Itunes store and from my Ipod and nothing seems to work.

My last attempt was the following:

I connected my Ipod to my computer and in Itunes I chose File, Devices, Transfer Purchases and the following messages appear in the box at the top of the Itunes page that shows the status.

1. Waiting for sync to start

2. Waiting fpor changes to be applied

Nothing happens and then the apple icon appears in the box. Nothing has transferred.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

iPod touch, iOS 6.0.2, Itunes 11

Have you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer?

This is correct... there is no backup anywhere. I have all the songs on my IPOS Touch and they are in the Itunes store, but nothing I try allows me to restore to my computer. I have folders on my computer that show the artist name but when I open any of the folders, there are no songs.

Go to the iTunes Store. Click on "Purchased". All of your music that is not on your computer should have an icon that says "download now". After you download it all it should be back on your computer.

When I go to the purchased screen, on the right side next to each song I purchased it says "downloaded". There is no option to chose download again. This is driving me crazy. I see all of the 100+ songs I have purchased but nothing I seem to do gives me to the option to download the songs again to my computer.
