Ipad Retina Not Recongised By Computer Since First Use

Hello All,

Please help, I've purchased one of the latest ipad's but since the first time I've connected it to my pc, where it let me add items to it, it now won't even realise that it's connected and says that device isn't recognized by my computer.

I then tried my laptop and same thing is happening, I can't add photos or music from off my pc and is starting to drive me up the wall!

Can anyone shed some light on this, thanks.
