I'm trying to convert a .flv file into a Youtube sharing .mov file via Compressor but every time I submit it, it fails due to error code -50. It worked two hours ago (albeit, very slowly) with another .flv file but now it refuses to even try. Please help!

Sorry you're having problems, but it's not surprising. The error code is invalid media.
The easy way is to forget about Compressor and upload the Flash file directly to You Tube with their uploader.
You'll also save a generation of compression loss.

I couldn't get a straight answer from numerous other forums about the subject on whether Compressor played well with Flash or not so I wasn't sure if the media was corrupted or if the Flash file itself was the issue.
Also didn't know that Youtube accepted straight .flv files.

Will people with non-Apple devices be able to play the uploaded Flash videos well?
After you upload to YT, they are going to completely recompress your movie to their specs and it should play back OK on any reasonably recent computer, regardless of platform.
