Jan 28, 2013 2:21 PM in response to jorge_Martensby Ralph Landry1,★HelpfulDisconnect the iPod, restart iTunes, plug in the USB end of the cable, then while holding the home button on the iPod connect the dock connector end of the cable. That will put you in recovery mode from which you can proceed to restore the iPod.

I have tried holding the home button and the power button at the same time for ten seconds. The only thing that happens is the apple comes up on the screen but i can move from that?

See the instructions in this support document for help with the disabled iPod. If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

Aug 12, 2016 10:30 PM in response to lllaassby Kbot317,I Haven't used my iPod touch 5th gen In a while and it is disabled it ive tried connecting to iTunes with the hold down and everything and did the whole restore thing but when it finished it says "the ipod "ipod" could not be restored.an unlnown error occurred (3194) if you can help fix this thank you if you aren't able to fix it thano you anyways for trying
