My ipod is saying it's disabled. he was locked for over 2 million minutes and now it doesnt let me but my password in. Says "iPod is disabled connect to iTunes" well its on iTunes and is still doing nothing. Someone please help me. what do i do?

The act of connecting to iTunes will not fix anything. You need to complete the steps as indicated in responses above yours. You need to restore the device, using the instructions in this support document. If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
Disconnect the iPod, restart iTunes, plug in the USB end of the cable, then while holding the home button on the iPod connect the dock connector end of the cable. That will put you in recovery mode from which you can proceed to restore the iPod.
Hi, I have the same issue and get to the screen where you restore the ipod, however when I hit restore it brings up my computer files, am I supposed to select something?

my ipod says ipod is disabled try again in 23,189,042 minutes. I have tried holding the home button and the power button at the same time for ten seconds. The only thing that happens is the apple comes up on the screen but i can move from that?

I Haven't used my iPod touch 5th gen In a while and it is disabled it ive tried connecting to iTunes with the hold down and everything and did the whole restore thing but when it finished it says "the ipod "ipod" could not be restored.an unlnown error occurred (3194) if you can help fix this thank you if you aren't able to fix it thano you anyways for trying
