Having trouble getting a movie in KeyNote to play on iPad. Created on Mac Bk Air in Key Note. Help!

Created Key Note presentation on Mac book Air. Plays perfectly. 1.8 GB due to an 8 minute movie. Moved it to Key Note on iPad via icloud, all is perfect except that the movie does not play. Movie is only visible when modifying the presentation. I am trying to move it to ipad, but it takes forever. Can anyone help!!????

I solved my problem. Had to format video into iPad1 H.264 format and now it works like a charm!! Movie was previously .mov format.
