MacbookPro select Dolby Surround 5.1 (autosettings)

Hello,

I got the next Problem First i show you my mounting:

MacbookPro -> Thunderbolt->Hdmi Converter. -> Hdmi Cable to my Receiver(Yamaha RX-467) -> Output Hdmi of my Receiver -> To A Benq Beamer

when i do this i can only select the options that my Beamer Requierd Not My Receiver he dont really see the Receiver so i CANT select 5.1

same for my tv if i do this:

cant select 5.1 because it doesnt support 5.1 only 2.1

Please help how to select 5.1?
