Fetch Question

I downloaded the FTP Program Fetch, and it came with a 15 day free trial. During the trial the program ran smoothly and transfered files at good speed. Recently my trial ran up, but to my surprise, when I opened the program it said I could try it for longer (but Super Strongly Urged me to Purchase it). So I just kept trying it for free, but I noticed that my uploads to my FTP Server are WAY SLOW! I dont know if this is becuase my internet connection is slow (it has been lately) or becuase Now that my free trial of Fetch is up the program doesnt work as well (surely a way to force you to buy the program).

I do plan on buying the program, but why does it take Fetch so long to upload to my FTP Server?

Pertaining to your first question, why not try the free CyberDuk It's an open source application that I personally prefer to Fetch.

Related to this topic, if I have a external hard
drive formated for MS-DOS File Systm (FAT32), and I
am loading my files from their through Fetch, into my
FTP should it take any longer? Would it be better if
I could switch the format to the Mac system? Would
things run smoother alltogether?

I have numerous hard drives and a couple are formatted in MS-DOS. I have never noticed any appreciable difference between moving files between them or using them for FTP.
