I've been getting some more battery issues with 6.1. I was hoping it was going to fix the 6.0.2 problems, but it seems to be worse now. Anyone else have this problem? I have an iPhone 5. Thanks!

It has only been available for a few hours, what problem are you having?
I updated my iPhone about two hours ago excited to fix 6.0.2's problems. The issue is that my battery is draining really fast with minimal usage. It hasn't been this bad before!
So how fast has it drained in the past 2 hours and what type of email accounts do you have on the iPhone?
I've used it for an hour and a half browsing safari (no videos) and its down to 87%. Its like every few minutes it goes down another percent. I have my email on fetch manually and push is off.
13% in two hours on WiFi would seem reasonable.
What type of email account is it?
Is it normal? It's just because for the couple of months when I just bought my iPhone, the battery seemed to be a lot longer than this. I have one Yahoo mail account on.
Using WiFi or cell data to search the web will use up battery fairly rapidly as you are contantly using the screen and the radio chipset. Depending on your screen settings it can use it even more rapidly.
Let is sit for 2 hours in standby and see how much battery it uses.

It's been sitting for about an hour and a half and it went down 1 percent.
That sounds about right.
I just looked at a different recent thread and the guy just went 45 minutes of usage and still at 100%.

Doing what? If he was surfing the web and got those results I would suggest that he needs to calibrate his battery.
Just updated to 6.1 and i've noticed every 1hr of browsing my
Battery drain up to 13%. Before the update it's only 9% every hr. of straight browsing.
I'm having this same issue. Mine is losing 1% every two to three minutes when I'm not using it. It was at 90% when I went to sleep last night and was completely dead when I woke up this morning. I tried resetting it and turning everything off and nothing seems to help.
I think the 6.1 update is fantastic.
4 hours of standby and 1 hour of usage and it's at 97%. ( just mostly checking email, replying to texts and very little browsing all on 3G)
OP, why don't you restore the OS and start from fresh. See if that helps improve your battery?
