I have an iPod with black and white screen and a click wheel. It has a sad face icon on the screen. Is it beyond resuscitation? Should I bring it to the Genius bar? I like its retro look and besides it has a lot of my older music on it. zebratamer

Found the answer! Talked to a friend, who suggested - after reading several other postings - that I drop the iPond on the floor several times. I dropped it five times onto a carpet from a height of about two feet and it WORKS! Seriously!
