Jan 28, 2013 10:54 PM in response to Michael Ginsbergby lostjournal,I have no issues with WiFi. The problem comes when you are on 3G. Not sure if CDMA phones are better in terms of 3G battery drain. I am down to 99% after about 30 mins usage out of which my 3G was not working for 25 mins. Too early to comment.

Jan 29, 2013 1:23 AM in response to Michael Ginsbergby lostjournal,Now I am at 80% with 1 hour 34 minutes of usage. Seems nothing was done to improve battery.
From my last reading 19% battery drain - for one hour of moderate usage - 4-5 web pages, and push notifications.
That's all.

Jan 29, 2013 4:48 AM in response to Michael Ginsbergby Beatnik69,My 3gs is the best after update, very improves battery life and ultra fast i can believe how a 2009 device can do it so well. More than 1% per hour standing by means you have a problem with some app. Try System activity monitor in appstore and find wich process is accessing your cpu and killing your battery in multi task. A must for everybody.

Jan 29, 2013 9:18 AM in response to Beatnik69by psanner,I have the effect that since the update my iPhone battery Life is horrible.
Checking the useage statistic gives the Strange info
1.59 hours useage
1.59 hours standby
Now at 23%
So for whatever reason the phone seems to be "always on" resulting in such Short battery Life.
Any idea how to fix that?

Jan 29, 2013 9:29 AM in response to Michael Ginsbergby Courcoul,Better life? I have had a similar first impression after the upgrade. Overnight, it would drain about 5-6% of the total even if I turned all off but the cellular voice linkup. This morning, 8 hours after the upgrade fiesta and with Cellular/Cellular Data/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth on (just no Locarion Services), I still had 100% on the gauge! Woo hoo!!

Jan 29, 2013 11:03 AM in response to plastikwapby Maggie3000,Did the update to 6.1 last night. Left it unplugged on my desk and over night the battery drained about 35%.
With iOS 6.0.2 it only lost approx. 5%.
