My macbook pro is not turning on and beeping.

I've been having problems with my macbook pro. It says it's not charging when it's plugged in and it doesn't charge. But it does come on sometimes for a little while when the power adapt is left plugged in. So I took to genius bar and they took it in the back and everything checked out okay. They said it might be the magsafe or the logic board so I decided to wait and save money for the magsafe first. I bring it home and plug it in and now it won't even turn on and it's beeping at me, any thoughts?
