Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Got a message the IOS 6.1 date was available. Touched install. Screen went black for a split second, vertical line appeared with apple icon next to it. The line filled pretty quickly then a second line appeared which we have been staring at. How long is this supposed to take?

Did you see the white line on the screen with the apple icon. It filled rapidly the first time and then appeared a second and is just sitting there.
yeah, it fills twice. after the second time then you get hte grey screen to enter your apple id, etc.
I don't know what to suggest beyond waiting it out
How long should the IOS 6.1 update take. The apple and a second vertical line are just sitting on the screen.
