none of these suggestions worked, is there anything else i can do?

i have tried to listen to around 3 or 4 songs that I had downloaded from iTunes, but all of them just skipped to the next song. I gat really frustrated because when I looked at the page where it shows all the things you have purchased but not downloaded, and there was nothing there. So apparently iTunes thinks I have downoaded them, but my iPod doesn't.

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync all music and resync

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
