My ipad mini occurs touch screen problems, it likes alive, touched everywhere, but i didn't do anything. And sometimes when i type words, it comes triple click and more. I need help to solve this problem guys. Thanks

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.
I did a reset before, but it doesn't solve the problems. It keep double and triple clicking. It was happen this morning, i have been use this ipad mini for couple of months and nothing goes wrong.
Has anyone figured out what the problem is yet? I have video of the iPad mini acting out. Thbproblem seems to be in the area of the volume buttons, and is getting worse on this iPad.
I have the exact same problem, I picked up the ipad mini today from the table and it keeps ''touching itself'' i cant do anything with it.... there was also a update to IOS 6.01 but updating did not solve the problem.

Having the same issue. Seems that random screen locations respond when trying to tap. Reset doesn't resolve the issue
Ok as an update. At the instruction of Apple support. I did a complete restore. This has actually worked for the time being. The only catch is you have to manually install each app individually. But I have had a couple weeks trouble free at the moment.
I just started having the same problem three to four days ago.

I tried to do a restore after resetting. My iPad now will not allow iTunes to reset. Equally the self-touch is still active. Letters and apps in the same area act freely of my input. If anyone gets information on this subject please post.
My mini is also getting flakey - it seems to navigate with a mind all its own. A soft reset seems to help for a bit.
I dont want to go through the hassle of a restore, but thats next up on the docket if it continues.
and i use a Lifeproof case, but this condition also happens when its out of the case...
October 2014 Having same problem, screen randomly starts typing, opening other apps, expands images and then downsized them on its own. Sad to see no comments from Apple that the problem has been figured out. I have had my ipad mini 9 months and wS declined warranty tonight at the I Mac Store in Johnson City, TN

Same issue, have done reset - it seems to behave for a while and then starts acting up, phantom touches, multi key hit, and un initiated activities. Would be nice if apple acknowledged and provided support.
