Alternate two backup drives

Most of the storage on my Mac Mini is taken up with large photographic files.

I have Timemachine set up to a single external HDD, using a thunderbolt connection.

I would like to add a second HDD via daisy chain link, then setup Timemachine to backup to alternate discs automaticly.

Any ideas please
