I need to press my MacPro's power button several times before it begins to boot, any cures?

Hi,

When I first set this up a couple years ago it woudl start up with one press.

Now it takes several before the LED lights and the system begins to boot.

MacPro 3.33 GHz 6core 10.6.8

Any ideas?
